Chesscom Hotel - Budapest

The location is convenient for airport access.

The heater in my room failed on a particularly cold night, leaving me shivering until it was repaired the next day. The toilet design was far from ideal. I was also quite annoyed that the shower didn't maintain a consistent temperature, likely because of high usage at peak times.

Our big size and modest room was complete with all necessary facilities, a good working WI-Fi. The location in a fairly quiet area was great and there were local markets and an open market nearby.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

It was really cheap and situated near to a metro station unfortunately it was closed for renovation or something. we had to take a replacement bus to the next station which was very inconvenient. good thing was there was air-conditioning in the room.

it was way too far out from the city, and breakfast tasted pretty terrible.

The room was comfy with soft beds, but the shower drainage was a bit slow.

Savoury and delicious breakfasts with very good coffee and hot dishes and every product, the staff were all in all gentle! The experience was very nice, would book here again.

Almost everything. The staff was kind, rooms spacious and clean, breakfast good, price low. Hotel is located a bit far from the city center but the metro station is very close so you can reach the center in 20 minutes. On the other hand it is close to the highway - good to those coming by car as we did.

Light in the rooms could be better.

Opted for Chesscom due to a friend's recommendation for the free private parking. The location, while a bit far from the city center, offers great connections via the metro right next to the hotel. The staff impressed me with their kindness and willingness to help. Rooms were supersuper clean and cozy. Breakfast had a decent variety, although it could use some improvement, especially in quality. My room was cozy but had low ceilings in some areas, so I had to be careful. All in all, a solid choice, just watch for the ceiling in the attic rooms.

The small triple room was comfy, but air conditioning didn't work well.

Very Nice and Kind staff, good design of the room and of all the structure, good breackfast. It is not in the city center which is reachable in 20 minutes by trolley bus. I warmly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and English speaking staff. Service that kept our rooms clean. Very tasty and varied breakfast. Localisation is very good - 200 meters to the metro station and direct connection to the airport (12 minutes by bus). If I ever visit Budapest next time I will stay in this hotel for sure.

Room on the third floor faced a busy street, leading to constant noise disturbance. The breakfast selection felt limited, and Wi-Fi connectivity was hit-or-miss, causing frustration. Some rooms had issues like inadequate soundproofing and uncomfortable beds.

Pleasant stuff, low price, goof value for many, near airport, near metro and bus station. If you want, they will gard your car for ~ 1.5EUR per day.
